KUCHING: The Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office (Statos)
is set to host a business networking program, Bosses Network Singapore, from 20
to 24 February. The event will bring together 52 entrepreneurs from various
backgrounds, including the food and beverage (F&B), logistics, packaging,
and other industries from Singapore to Kuching.
The program aims to promote business opportunities in
Sarawak and enhance cultural understanding between the two countries/states, in
addition to fostering business and cultural exchanges.
Chew Chang Guan, CEO of Statos, said the program
combines business and cultural activities to provide participants with a
comprehensive experience related to Sarawak.
"We believe this event will be the best platform
for business owners to explore investment potential and partnerships in
Sarawak," he said in a statement today.
The five-day program will provide participants with
the opportunity to explore business prospects, build relationships with other
business owners, and learn about the business landscape in the state.
Statos and Bosses Network Singapore also invite
business owners in Kuching to attend a dinner (conducted in Mandarin) to build
networks on 22 February at the Riverine Diamond Mall.
